Competitive Applications Accepted on a Continuous Basis with Awards Made Quarterly
Wichita State University students are invited to apply for grants of up to $1,000 from the WSU Ventures Innovation Fund to support high-potential technologies showing promise of commercialization. Qualifying expenses include those related to feasibility studies, planning, market intelligence, technical assistance, laboratory fees, technology or process development, and training software/information technology. The awards are subject to availability of funds and a competitive review, evaluation, and approval process.
Innovators are eligible for awards up to $1,000 for technology development and business counseling that will be completed within six-months of the award. Innovators will keep accurate records of the project’s progress and provide support documentation for the purpose of reporting.
A final project completion report indicating specific measurable performance outcomes and any necessary support documentation will be due within 30 days of the project completion. Documentation provided to WSU Ventures will identify metrics defined in the scope of work and any other outcomes deemed pertinent to WSU Ventures.
