myTraining

myTraining is the integrated training management system for faculty and staff at Wichita State University. Through myTraining, WSU faculty, staff, and student employees have access to free training sessions for both personal and professional development.

Along with managing the training records of employees, the myTraining portal will enable faculty and staff to view training schedules, register for training sessions, and complete online training.

Please note, not all trainings are available for Student Employees. There are some trainings that are only available for Staff and/or Faculty. Trainings that are available for Student Employees will appear in their training calendar when they log into myTraining.

 DID YOU KNOW?

Adding Subjects

 In your very first visit to myTraining, you will be prompted to add subjects. By selecting the subjects you are interested in the myTraining Learner Homepage will customize your learning experience. Suggested training sessions will then be listed in the carousel "Inspired by Your Subjects".

  1. Click add.
  2.  Select the subjects you are interested in (i.e. Technology, Diversity, Finance) 
  3.  Click save.

Assigning training to direct reports

Supervisors have the ability to assign trainings to their direct reports in myTraining.

  1. Start by selecting the appropriate training. 
  2. Click the assign button.
  3. Add a due date, and or comments if needed.
  4. Select the employees to be trained.
  5. Click the submit button.

Student employee access

WSU Student employees can access myTraining through myWSU. The link to myTraining is located in the myFinances section.

  1. Access myWSU and go to the myFinances tab.
  2. Scroll down to the "Student Employee Training" channel.
  3. Click on the myTraining link.

View employee Bio and Team members

WSU faculty, staff and student employees have the ability to view their own and other employees Bio's in myTraining. myTraining bio's include title, contact information, team members and more.
